Credentials
What we hold, and where you can check it
The certificate and the insurance policy are in the footer of every page. Maine does not license general contractors at the state level, so these are the credentials that apply to work on older houses.

What it is
A federal certificate for firms that do paid work disturbing paint in homes built before 1978. It is issued to the firm, and a certified renovator must direct the job.
What it asks
Containment, no dry sanding or open flame, a HEPA vacuum and a cleaning check. It is the method, written down.
What it doesn't say
It isn't a Maine contractor license, and it isn't a promise about the results. It tells you how the work is done.
